Why heavy drivers are tested before shortlisting

The man drives the class of vehicle he says he drives, observed by someone who can judge it. Control, mirror discipline, gear and brake use on grades.
Pre-trip inspection
Tyres, lights, coupling, load security and fluid checks. A driver who skips this on the test will skip it on your fleet.
Licence verification
Indian licence class and validity are checked and stated, along with what your side will need for Omani conversion.
Defensive driving and fatigue awareness
Following distance, speed discipline, and knowing when not to drive. Fleet insurance and safety records depend on this more than on skill.
Certificates and papers
Indian driving licences are verified for class and validity and sent with the profile. We state which classes a man is licensed for and which vehicles he has merely driven, because employers are entitled to know the difference.
