What the HVAC test actually covers
Fault-finding on a live unit
The man is given a unit with a fault and asked to find it. How he narrows it down tells you far more than a certificate does.
Gas handling and pressure work
Charging, recovery, leak detection, gauge reading, and whether he works cleanly with refrigerant rather than venting it.
Brazing and pipework
Joint quality on copper, insulation, and support — the work that determines whether a system leaks in year two.
Electrical side of the unit
Contactors, capacitors, thermostats and basic control wiring. An HVAC man who cannot test the electrical side is only half a technician.
Certificates and papers
ITI Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certificates and previous Gulf service records are sent with the profile where held. We separate installation experience from maintenance experience, because employers need to know which one they are getting.
Alongside the trade papers, every candidate’s passport and ECR status, GAMCA or Wafid medical, police clearance and eMigrate PoE clearance are sequenced so nothing expires while your visa is in process.

What employers ask about hvac technicians
Do you supply chiller technicians, or only split and package men?
Both, but not in the same numbers. Tell us the equipment and we will tell you honestly what we have at that level.
Are they used to working in high ambient temperatures?
Men coming from Indian summers are, and those with prior Gulf service are more so. We tell you each man’s actual background rather than generalising.
Can they handle both installation and maintenance?
Some can, many are stronger in one. The assessment states which, so you are not surprised.
What certifications do your HVAC men hold?
Whatever they genuinely hold, sent with the profile. We do not claim refrigerant handling certification where it does not exist.
